Manoranjan Kalia Blast: In a significant development, the Punjab police arrested the attacker who threw a Granada to the BJP leader and the former Punjab minister, Manoranjan Kalia, in Jalandhar. The State Police resolved the case within 12 hours.
According to the police, the intellectual author of the Granada attack in Jalandhar has been identified as Zeeshan Akhtar, an associated gangster or nearby prison Lawrence Bishnoi.
Police also believed that the attack was part of a larger plot backed by ISI to interrupt community harmony in Punjab. Akhtar is also sought in the leader of murder of the High Profile NCP Baba Siddiqui.
The investigations are underway to find a remaining potential among the Khalistani terrorist based in Pakistaní Harivender Singh, also known as Rinda and Gangster Happy Passia, in relation to a planned cross -border attack.
