Official sources said that Prime Minister’s office (PMO) had sent a letter to the Kerala government confirming Mr. Modi’s visit.

The State Police is preparing a comprehensive security scheme with the Prime Minister’s special protection group on the visit of Mr. Modi.

The Adani ports and the special economic zone (Apsez) operate the Mega Transbyo container. The installation has the unique geographical advantage of being closer to the International East-West shipping channel, which connects the Persian Gulf, Southern Asia and the Far East with Europe.

A significant portion of world trade, including oil and other goods, passes through this vital shipping route.

The deep water port and for all climate has a steep continental slope, which allows easy -to -enter -income and exit deep vessels. The depth of the port also prevents the need for dredging operations, which helps it save in general capital expenses and makes operations relatively more profitable than other similar facilities.
