Congress accused the AAP government of trying to “intimidate him in pure political revenge” and asked him not to divert public attention from the “serious threat that has been raised for peace and harmony in Punjab”.
Mr. Bajwa said: “It is deeply unfortunate that Mann is addressing the government not with the intention of serving the people of Punjab but carrying out personal selling. Today’s events are a clear testimony of the misuse of the power of the AAP government.”
Previously, Mr. Mann lashed out at Mr. Bajwa about his statements, saying that Neinder Punjab’s police intelligence or a central intelligence agency have shared such information.
The prime minister said strict measures will be taken if Mr. Bajwa’s statement was only destined to “create panic.”
Granadas attacks
In an interview with a private television channel, Mr. Bajwa said: “I have come to know that 50 bombs have reached Punjab. Of this, 18 have exploded, 32 have not yet shot each other.”
The MLA Qadian statements occurred in the midst of several grenades attacks in the state in recent months.
A Punjab police team composed of the inspector General Police Assistant Ravjot Kaur Grewal and the Mohali Police Superintendent (City) Harbir Atwal visited Mr. Bajwa’s residence on Sunday and interrogated the source of his statement.
Aig Grewal, speaking with journalists outside Mr. Bajwa’s residence, said the police team arrived to find Mr. Bajwa’s source of information, since it was a issue of national security.
“Bajwa did not reveal any source or origin or this information … Until now, it has not given us any useful opinion,” he said.
CM MANN demands a source
Meanwhile, in a video message on Sunday, Mr. Mann said: “I want to ask Bajwa how he obtained this information. Does he have a direct link with Pakistan? Terrorists or any day in Pakistan called and share the information that 50 bombs have arrived, 18 have exploded and 32 are sending?”
“What is the source of your information? Neinder Punjab Intelligence or any intelligence in the country have shared such information. So could you say that 18 bombs have exploded and 32 have not yet turned off? It means the shame you have.
“It is your responsibility to share information. Are you waiting for bombs to explode people to that?” Hello Ash.
“If you have no information and cool the statement just to disseminate panic, then it is a serious crime. The strict action will be tasks,” he said.
Congress must clarify: Mann
Mr. Mann also sought a clarification of the Congress Party in this regard.
“Is the Hand of the Congress party with anti -informed forces and knows how many bombs have reached and exploited? The National Leaders and Bajwa Congress matches should also clarify,” said Prime Minister.
“I have directed the police to ask for (Mr. Bajwa) to discover where the bombs are,” said Mr. Mann.
Mr. Bajwa said a police team visited his residence and interrogated him for his statement.
“I gave an interview with a television channel. My sources had informed me that 50 bombs have arrived here and that 18 bombs have exploded in the police stations in border areas and other places,” journalists put journalists in their residence.
The MLA Qadian also said an explosion of Granada in the residence of the BJP leader, Manoranjan Kalia.

The legislator said he cooperated with the police team and added that he could not reveal his sources. “I told the officers that I am willing to help him, but I can’t reveal my sources.”
Government Welcome to Case Registry: Bajwa
When asked that Mr. Mann talked about taking action if he did not reveal the source of information, Mr. Bajwa said that if the government wants to register a case, it is “welcome.”
Later, in a statement, he said: “As a leader of the opposition, I have a constitutional position and I am aware of confidential information. I act responsible and for the sake of public security when I propose such concerns. Unfortunately, instead of addressing the problem, CM Mann chose to threaten me with strict action this morning.
“… I will not feel intimidated. I have made it clear to the police officers who, although I maintain my statement, I will not reveal my sources. My duty is for the people of Punjab and for the Constitution, not for the whims of a vindictive government,” Bajwa said.
He alleged: “Bhagwant Mann has been a complete failure. I want to ask him to wake up from his dream ‘Kumbhkarni’. Take a serious punish. You and your leadership are a complete answer for the current situation on Punjab.”
Congress leaders react
Some leaders of the Punjab Congress came out in support of Mr. Bajwa and said that he revealed that “he was already in the public domain and bees informed by several rookies for so many days.”
The leaders caught the government’s attention to recent incidents of grenades against police stations, outside a temple and residence of a BJP leader, in addition to the desecration of Br Ambedkar’s statues.

Meanwhile, Finance Minister Harpal Singh Chema criticized Bajwa for his statement and said that, as head of the Constitutional Office, the leader of the Congress has the duty to provide any solid information he possesses to guarantee the security of people.
