The Office of the Income Division (RDO) officer in Palakkad, Kerala, received a pump threat by email on Wednesday (April 16, 2025), which led to the deployment of pumps and dog squads to look for any explosive in the facilities.

A superior police officer told a television channel that the elimination of bombs and dog squads were searching at RD’s office after evacuating staff and the public from there.

Hello, similar emails were also said that Kerala districts and, therefore, the police were trying to determine if the threat was a hoax.

“A while has been mentioned in email and continuously our search until then,” he said.

The contents of the email as a program on the television channel states that an RDX explosive had placed the leg in the RDO office and that would detonate at 1.30 pm.

The alleged email also said that the detonation was scheduled to coincide with the alleged “elimination” or leader of Aiadmk Edappadi K. Palaniswami.
