The president of PMK, Anbumani Ramadss, exceeded cases of violence within the student community after an eighth standard student attacked another student with a sickle in Palayamkottai, Tirunelveli district, and urged the state government to reintroduce moral lessons.

In a statement, he said that the instances of students who attack other students are in an upward trend in the southern districts. “In August 2023, the Chinnurai student was cut inside the house in Nanguneri. In Srivaikuntam, in the district of Thothukudi, a student traveling on a bus was off and attacked. Such incidents cause that we seem to stop. Sure of a problem about a pencil.

Schools must be a place to teach education and discipline, he added.
