Ambedkar Jayanthi celebrations were held greatly in the undivided district of Kurnol and Anantapur on Monday.
Kurnol
In Kurnool, the Minister of Industries and Commerce, TG Bharath, Deputy B. Nagaraju and others created the statue of Dr. Br Ambedkar in the old bus stand area. Mr. Bharath exalted Dr. Ambedkar to the Nation by playing a key role in obtaining equal rights for people.
“Even after decades, we are still following the path shown by Dr. Ambedkar. He was a visionary who wrote the Constitution with a vision to guarantee equal rights for all,” said Bharath, and added that the Government of the NDA in the State has been implementing the Constitution in Toto “different from the previous government.”
Meanwhile, collector P. Ranjith Basha separated into the celebrations of the Ambedkar’s birth anniversary at the SC Welfare Residential School School at the veldurthi mandal headquarters.
Nandyal
In Nandyal, the minority minister, N. MD Farooq, the collector Rajakumari Gania and others participated in the anniversary celebrations of the birth of Dr. Ambedkar. Mr. Farooq said that each individual must follow the steps of Dr. Ambedkar and praised the struggle of the letter for the elevation and rights of the dalits. “Dr. Ambedkar visited several countries, studied the government there and wrote the Constitution,” he said.
Later, Stone Stone was placed for the installation of a bronze statue or Dr. Ambedkar in the municipal office in Nandyal. The dignitaries planted young trees at the municipal office facilities on the occasion.
In the District Police Office, Police Superintendent Adhiraj Singh Rana offered tributes to Dr. Ambedkar’s portrait and praised the services of the visionary leader for the nation.
Anantapur
Anantapur’s deputy, Ambic Lakshminarayana, collector Vinod Kumar V. and others created the statue of Dr. Ambedkar in the Zilla Parishad circle in the city on the occasion of the celebrations of the 134th anniversary of the birth.
In the city of Anantapur, the leaders of TDP celebrated the celebrations of the birth anniversary in a great way by eliminating the manifestations in which MLA Daggubati Venkateswara Prasad touched the “Dappu” and created the statue of Dr. Ambedkar in the ZP office. Anantapur’s deputy, Ambica Lakshminarayana, and the president of the district party, Venkatasivud Yadav, also participated.
