The world is running towards technology and AI, and it is important at this time to focus on the “softer side” of art, music, culture and creativity to not do robots but human beings, said Prime Minister Narmi on Tuesday in his 2025 opening speech in Delhi.
“We have a vibrant film, podcast and games industry. We have decided to take it to the next level by the creation mantra in India through the Waves platform,” he said. “The films, podcasts, AR and virtual reality are a critical industry, and the creative in India will invite artists from all over the world.”
The next summit 2025 of Waves, organized under the leadership of Prime Minister Modi, will take place from May 1 to 4 at the Jio World Convention Center and Jio World Garden in Mumbai.
“I would also urge my friends from Network18 to present and promote this wave platform,” said Prime Minister.
In December 2024, Prime Minister Modi, duration of his monthly radio address, Mann Ki Baat, announced that India was going to organize the World Audiovisual Entertainment Summit (Waves).
