Seven people, including five women, or an interstatal gang, accused a series of high -end Sari points of sale in Telangana, Andhra Pradesh and other southern states, were arrested by Madhapur police on Saturday.

All defendants are residents of the Krishna district in Andhra Pradesh.
Police said six of the seven defendants have a history of criminal activity and that they have previously operated in Andhra Pradesh, Telangana, Karnataka and Tamil Nadu.
The sentence follows a complaint on April 3 by the owner of a boutique Sare Premium in Friends Colony, Miyapur.
According to the complaint, while the owner was out of personal work, her husband was managing the store. A couple entered the exhibition room under the pretext of buying a large amount of Saris.
