On January 23, Indian Railways tested the first Vande Bharat train from Sri Mata Vaishno Devi Katra train to the Srinagar railway station. The train will cross the Anji Khad bridge, the first railway bridge in India and the Chenab bridge, which is the highest railway bridge in the world. This train has been designed for the cold climatic conditions of the Kashmir Valley.
