On the occasion of Ambedkar Jayanthi, Prime Minister Siddaramaiah Challenge to Prime Minister Narendra Modi to show his commitment to the well-being of SC/STS when promulgating a legisation in the lines of the sub-Plan and Tribal-Sub caste law) of Karnataka.
He launched the challenge to the prime minister while participating in a program organized in the KPCC office in Bangalore to commemorate the birth anniversary of Br Ambedkar. “Is this legislation implemented at the national level?” The prime minister asked.

Bengaluru to have a higher statue or ambedkar
Prime Minister Siddaramaiah announced Monday that a museum dedicated to Br Ambedkar will be established in Bangalore, in addition to a statue of the architect of the Constitution. The proposed statue would be the highest in the country, he said.
