Six-year-old boy drowned in pond after resisting sexual assault attempt; accused held

In a horrible incident of Mala, the Police arrested Yojo, 20, for the murder of a six -year -old boy who resisted an attempt of sexual assault. The defendant will be produced in the Court on Friday night.

The incident occurred on Thursday. The victim’s body was transferred from the Morgue of the Maria Theresa hospital in Kuzhikkattusserry to the Thrissur Government Medicine Hospital for a post mortem exam.
