Southern Railway has sanctioned permission to the Loco pilot whose license application to take care of his wife was initially rejected.
According to the railway sources, the crazy pilot’s bibin was handling a train of goods to Mangalore in the Palghat division the night of April 7.
After arriving at the destination, he requested a permit by saying that she received an emergency call from her pregnant wife in Tiruvalla in Kerala that she had developed work pain. He took the next train to his house and admitted his wife to a private hospital where she gave birth to a baby the next morning.
However, his license was rejected without citing any reason for the competent authority. Mr. Bibin received a message that he was marked absent from the duty since April 8, 2025. The Association of Personnel of India Crazy Running condemned the license to denial of privileges to Mr. Bibin and requested the immediate intervention of the general manager of the South Railway.
After the subject was published in The Hindu On Saturday, the sources said Mr. Bibin received a call from the main controller of the Mangalore Depot crew, who reported that the request that sought a five -day license was granted. The four days (April 8-11) treated as “absent from duty” would also be regularized and treated as a license, the sources said.
