Odisha’s Prime Minister Mohan Majhi has assured severe action against those responsible for setting a statue of former legendary Biju Patnaik prime minister and leader in the Balangir district, after a demonstration of the Biju Janata Dal condemning the law of the law.

Mr. Majhi expressed a deep anguish for the incident to burn the statue in Patnagarh. When affirming that the person involved in this incident must have a cowardly leg and a person with a sick mentality, the prime minister instructed the police to take strong measures in this incident.

“Until now, a person has been arrested in this incident. If there is any conspiracy behind this incident, this should be exhibited,” he said in a statement. Mr. Majhi added that the state government believes in honoring all the great leaders of the State.

‘Vindictive Policy’

Condemning the incident, the Biju Janata Dal (BJD) organized a demonstration at the Biju Patnaik International Airport, accusing the Government of Vindictive Indulgence of Mohan Majhi in vindictive politics.

“Biju Patnaik is a symbol of hate pride and a fighter for freedom who contributed to the release of three nations. It transcended political affiliations and belonged to all hate. Vandaling His statue is not just a crime is Sanjd Bjd das Burma.” The silence of the state government is shocking and unacceptable, “he added.

In addition, he claimed that such attempts to insult the legacy of Biju Patnaik were becoming increasingly frequent throughout the state, warning that the BJD will not tolerate the continuous defamation of such an iconic leader. Previously in the Cuttack district, the statue of the Chief of Biju Patnaik was separated by Masscreats.
