Surat Police Foil Plan To Rob Bus Full Of Diamonds, Gold And Silver; MP Cop Among 6 Arrested

The branch of local crime in Surat, Gujarat, discovered a well -planned and high -risk robbery that involved a criminal gang that planned to loot Angadia Workers traveling to Saurashtra. Those arrested include a prison guard, an ex-Pobre man and a notorious repeated criminal with more than 20 serious cases in his name. Supposedly, the gang had planned to kidnap a valuable transport of transport of private pins bus that includes diamonds, gold, silver and effective worth an estimated RS 5 million rupees.

According to the sources cited by The Times of India, the Targetted bus belongs to Shriram Viajes and operates between Surat and Saurashtra, often transporting Angadia The workers-trainers who transport high-value plots for the prosperous industry of gems and jewels of Gujarat.

Six gang members were arrested in a rapid operation led by Surat Police Commissioner Anupam Singh Gahlaut. Among the detainees are Rajesh Parmar, a police guard currently published in the Shivpuri prison in Madhya Pradesh and a former Army military. According to the reports, Parmar crossed with the gang Kingpin, James Almeida, while serving time in Taloja prison after being arrested for a 20 kg robbery of gold.

Almeida, the alleged master mind, is a hardened criminal with a rap sheet that includes more than 20 main cases and 14 active orders. The police say that the gang caused the leg to plan the robbery for two months, operating from an apartment interested in the residence of Mahadev Nagar, Kadodara, on the outskirts of Surat. The gang had made recognition missions around Angadia Offices in the Mahidharpura area, a city diamond trade center.

Police say that eight gang members would board the bus armed with weapons, ready to intercept and loot high value sending. However, the crime branch intervening before the plan could be executed. Police passed three guns, a revolver made in the country, 42 live cartridges, an additional magazine and a variety of equipment that include Chile Spray, Chile powder, knives, mobile phones, maps, a Wi-Fi dongle and a stolen vehicle.

The other defendants in custody have been identified as Salauddin Sheikh, Rais Khan, Udyveer Singh Tomo and Vijay Mebansi. In particular, it is believed that taking has past ties with the diamond industry, giving the gang the internal knowledge of its objective. The officers also discovered that one of the defendants had previously killed a woman, filmed dancing in her body and circulated the video.

Police are now looking for eight additional suspects that are believed to be part of the same conspiracy. The researchers say that the rapid response of the crime branch avoided what could have been one of the largest and most violent robberies in recent years.

Commissioner Ghlaut said the gang’s plot had been moving during week. His judgment was the result of careful surveillance and timely intervention, he told reporters. “We are committed to track the suspects and dismantle the entire network,” he said.
