Tahawwur Rana Extradition News live updates: Tahawwur Rana, co-conspirador in the co-conspirator 26/11 of Mumbai’s terror attacks, will land in India today, a day after an Indian team of several agencies left the United States with him on a special flight on Wednesday.
It is expected to land in India at 12 noon and it is likely to stay in the Tihar prison in Delhi.
The team had traveled to the United States after the country’s Supreme Court dismissed the frog review in search of an emergency stay in its extradition to India.
According to the officials, the high security cells in the Tihar prison in the national capital and the prison of Arthur Road in Mumbai have prepared for a high -risk detainee. The NIA also recently obtained a court order on the transfer of its case from Mumbai to Delhi.
The agency can seek its custody interrogation once it is taken to India and produced before court. Rana will face trial in the case of Mumbai’s terrorist attacks.
