Tension as miscreants desecrate Ambedkar statue in Kakinada district

The tension prevailed in the Sankavaram village under the limits of the Annavaram Police in the Kakinada district on Tuesday when criminals desecrated the statue of Dr. Br ambedkar.

The villagers who woke up to find the incident organized a protest in front of the statue, demanding the identification and judgment of the Delles. When he was alerted by the protest, the divisional police of Peddapuram hastened to the place.

The deputy superintendent or Peddapuram policeman D. Srihari Raju said The Hindu: “Some Malcranos have created the statue with Chappals that were eliminated on Tuesday. The investigation is activated.” Later, the locals canceled their protest and demanded that the police accelerate the investigation.
