There was a palpable tension in Tipruati since the early hours of Thursday, with the police placing the former president of TTD and former MLA, Bhumana Karunakar Reddy, under the trial of the house.
The chamber trial followed the acceptance of Mr. Reddy of the challenge launched by the president of the state of TDP, Palla Srinivas, to visit the TTD dairy farm, Sri Venkateswara Gosamrakshanasala, to prove his positions.
Mr. Reddy had made serious accusations about the reported death of approximately 100 cows in the dairy farm due to the “negligence” of personnel officials and members, which caused a fury in the TTD circles.
After the TTD official refuted the positions, the leaders of the NDA set out to have press conferences throughout the state to condemn Mr. Reddy’s statements and accused him of defamed the institution deliberately.
Mr. Reddy promised to prove his point and accepted the TDP challenge. When the TDP wrote on his daring wall to appear in Goshala and witness the state of affairs, Mr. Reddy replied: “Accepted challenge, see you at 10 am in tomorrow.”
However, the police fasted the location of Padmavathypuram and placed Mr. Reddy under the trial of the house even before they could visit the dairy farm.
Meanwhile, the leaders of the NDA went to the media in the dairy farm and renewed their appeal to politicians not to use the TTD for their political benefit.
