A terrorist was killed on Friday in a meeting with security forces in the district of Jammu and Kashmir in Kishwar, while a separate operation to locate a group of three militants is underway in the Udhampur district, army officials said.
Security agencies have expanded the scope of surveillance to the Bhaderwah area of the Doda district to maintain a clue about the potential terrorist movement between different places in the mountainous districts of the Jammu region.
The officials said that the meeting in Kishtwar broke out a duration of a search and destruction operation based on intelligence launched jointly by the Army and the Jammu and Kashmir police in the district’s forest area of the District.
