Officials of the Telangana Medical Council (TGMC) on Tuesday inspections aimed at not qualified medical professionals throughout the Kamareddy district.

The inspections revealed that many clinics were attended by individuals without medical grades who administered dangerous treatments, including antibiotics, steroids and analgesic injections, without adequate recipes.

The surprise inspections, directed by Dr. A. Sunny Davis and Dr. Sirish Kumar, covered in the village of Gandhari, the city of Banswada and the town of Pitlam. In Gandhari, several unqualified clinics were identified, including the Gurukripa Clinic, the Saritha Clinic, the He Hesingh first aid center and the Akshaya clinic. In Banswada, the Venkateswara First Aid Clinic and a medical center operated by an individual named Sudarshan were marked. In addition, Haritha Clinic in Pitlam was marked as the raids.

A report will be submitted to the relevant authorities, and the Telangana Medical Councils warned that the cases will be presented under the National Medical Commission (NMC) and the registration laws of medical practitioners of the State of Telangana (TSMPR), a statement said.
