Three Kasaragod natives were arrested with 20 kg or ganja duration, a flash inspection made by the anti -narcotic team in Malaparamba in the city of Kozhikode on Sunday (April 13, 2025).
Those arrested were identified as GC Sleejith, 30, K. Krithiguru 32 and Mohammed Ashraf, 37. A traveler vehicle that they used to smuggled the drug was also confirmed in relation to the incident.
Police sources said that the seized ganja had a market value of ₹ 8 Lakh. The ganja packages were hidden under the passenger seats duration, they said.
Sreejith, the first accused in the incident, had been involved in similar cases of drug trafficking. Ramanattukara police had previously arrested him with 9 kg Ganja.
