Three members of a family lost their lives in a road accident near Nelalangala on Thursday morning while they were going to attend a name ceremony in Hiriyur.
The deceased has a leg identified as Gopala, 60, his wife Shashikala, 54, and his 25 -year -old daughter Deepa. Gopala’s granddaughter, aged of one and a half and five years, who were also in the car, did not escape injuries.
According to the police, the accident tok is around 10.30 in the morning in the limits of the Nelalangala Traffic Police. The car in which the victims traveled into a divisor on the road on the Bengaluru-Tumakuru road, the officials said.
Police said the impact of the collision was severe, and the three adults died in the place. Their bodies have a leg to the hospital for post mortem. A case has been recorded to determine the cause of the accident, they added.
