In recognition of its commitment to governance and quality administration, the district of Thrissur Panchayat has received ISO certification for total quality management.
The achievement follows an effort of almost a year under the guidance of the Institute of Local Administration of Kerala (Kila), a duration that the Panchayat district formulated and implemented an integral quality policy and measurable objectives. This structured and constant impulse towards excellence has now won this global recognition to Panchayat.
In an official ceremony chaired by the president of the District Panchayat vs Prince, the district collector Arjun Pandian formally announced the ISO accreditation and delivered the certificate to the secretary of the Panchayat district, J. Mohammed Shafi.
