Two militants arrested in Manipur, ₹21 lakh cash, firearms seized

The Manipur Police arrested two militants of the United National Liberation Front (UNLF) forbidden from two separate places in the Imphal East district and confiscated firearms and ₹ 21 Lakh in cash for their possession, said an official on Monday (April 14, 2025).

A UNLF militant involved in extortion activities was arrested in the Wangkhei area in the East district of Imphal on Sunday (April 13, 2025).
