Union Cabinet to meet on April 30, first since Pahalgam attack

The Cabinet of the Union will meet on Wednesday (April 30, 2025) for the first time from 22 terrorist attacks in Pahalgam that left 26 people dead.

The meeting under the presidency of Prime Minister Narendra Modi will meet at 11 am on Wednesday.

There was no meeting of the Union Cabinet last week and only the Cabinet Security Committee (CCS) had April 23 and had condemned the terrorist attack.

After the CCS meeting, India had announced a series of measures, including diplomatic degradation ties with Pakistan.

Among other measures, India announced the expulsion of Pakistani military vectors, the suspension of the Indo Water Treaty of more than six decades and the immediate closure of the Attari terrestrial traffic post in view of the cross -border stunned terror.
