In a shocking and strange incident, a doctor in Jalaun from Uttar Pradesh allegedly made a five -year -old boy smoking a cigarette as part of the cold treatment, an official said on Wednesday.

The accused doctor, identified as Dr. Suresh Chandra, who was sent at the Kuthaund Central Health Center, supposedly asked the child to put a cigarette in his mouth. Then he illuminated the cigarette and asked the child many times to drag.

A video of the strange incident became viral among Internet users, causing a widespread complaint.

The accused doctor has been transferred to the district headquarters, and an investigation has been ordered against him, he told the medical director Dr. Narendra Dev Sharma to the news agency. The CMO ordered an investigation on March 28 on the incident that supposedly happened the same month.

“This son of the incident will not be tolerated in the district. We have issued strict instructions to avoid such occurrences in the future,” Sharma said.

A probe has been launched under CMO Dr. SD Chaudary additional, and a detailed report will be presented to the state government.
