The Prime Minister of Uttarakhand, Pushkar Singh Dhami, Thorsday (April 17, 2025) ordered the police to launch an impulse to locate people who live illegally in the state with false identification documents.

Hi, he also ordered the police to take strict measures against those who help the “intruders” acquire false certificates.

In a meeting with senior police officers, the prime minister told them to take strict measures against drug mafia and all those who disturb the situation of the law and order.

“Uttarakhand is known as a peaceful state in the country and the world, but the police administration must be vigilant so that the criminal elements do not consider it their safe port and do not use the peaceful image of the State,” he added.

Taking the knowledge of the delay in the presentation of the first information reports (FIR) on cyber crimes, Mr. Dhami sought a report on action tasks so far in such cases. The order of the Police Department improved the work culture at all levels, and asked the Director General of Police to take measures against police declared guilty of any misconduct or offense.
