The Viduthalai Chiruthaigal Katchi (VCK) organized a protest in Kottakuppam on Tuesday in search of the withdrawal of the WAQF (amendment) law after the bill was recently approved in both Chambers of Parliament.
The picture of the party led by the member of the Parliament D. Ravikumar de Villupuram, participated in the protest that condemned the BJP government to the center for promoting the amendment ignoring the generalized opposition of Muslim organizations and political parties.
When affirming that the WAQF (amendment) law of 2025 was against the National Unit, Mr. Ravikumar alleged that the government of the Union that does not interfere with the real estate affairs of other religious communities, would interfere aggressively in the affairs of the WAQF Board.
