Protest of the WAQF Law: Around 10 police officers were injured in the clashes that exploded after people gathered after Friday’s prayers against the WAQF law in Murshidabad

WAQF Law protest: The protest against the WAQF (amendment) law became violent in several western Bengal pockets on Friday when the agitators set the vehicles on fire, faced with security forces and interrupted road and rail trafficking.

In the Suti of Murshidabad, the protesters gathered despite the prohibition orders, organizing demonstrations, throwing stones at the police and burning police vehicles and buses.
