The winners of the Hackathon X semifinal presented cash awards at the Vit-A University at INAVOLU in Amaravati.
In an innovation and digital defense celebration, the Vit-A University, in association with the National Council for Cyber Security Research (NCSRC), congratulated the high performance teams of Andhra Pradesh and Telangana, in the Hackathon X semifinal. The first and second positions were captured by teams of the Vit-A University, while the third prize was won by students of the Faculty of Engineering and Technology of RMK. Hackathon X gathered students, teachers and experts in cyber security.
Held on April 10, the Hackathon X semifinal, saw 150 participants participate in a fierce competition in the preliminary round. The non -stop challenge of 8 hours included two technical segments: ‘Bug Bounty Round’ and ‘Capture The Flag’ (CTF), testing skills from cryptography participants, reverse engineering, networks and skills of ethical piracy.
Tadikonda Mla Tenali Sravan Kumar praised the passion of the students and encouraged them to contribute to the technological advance of India. He Said: “The Challenges We face in today’s digital age are evolving rapidly. Cybersecury is not to niche topic, it is a National Priority. The director of NCSRC E. Khalaieraaj Naidu highlighted the growing need for qualified cyber security professionals and emphasized the importance of experimental learning platforms such as Hackathon X.
The vice chancellor of the University of Vit-A, SV Kota Reddy, reaffirmed the University’s commitment to the technical excellence of ghost and support initiatives that enhance the young people of India in emerging fields.
