The former Foreign Secretary, Harshvardhan Shringla, said that the conversations of the gate of the Prime Minister Modi finally achieved the extradition of the defendant of Tahawwur Rana 11/26. Shringla said matters like these need a political consensus at leadership levels.

Rana’s custody interrogation could help India establish their links with the Pakistan Isi espionage agency, and subsequently the Pakistani deep state behind the 26/11 attacks, said Shringla.

Rana extradition can open a new era or cooperation in terrorism against us, he said. It also sends the message that no one who plans terrorist acts against India can be considered “safe” of the arm of the long law, Shringla added.
