Why creamy layer is recommended for all

The economic prosperity and the ascending political movement of the members in the castes presented in category 1 have directed the report of the socioconomic and educational survey to steal the elimination of the exemption of the creamy layer category.

The Commission led by K. Jayaprakash Hegde that presented the report to the Government in 2024 has said that since the economic condition had improved among people in the thesis castes, it is sought that the creamy layer be included now. The report also indicates that the competition between and within the communities has increased, and that it becomes difficult for people from peoples, children of workers and farmers compete with the rich in these categories.

Beyond 50%

Justifying the increase in the reservation matrix beyond the Supreme Court limited 50%, the report indicated that the reservation had already reached 56% with the increase in the reservation for scheduled castes and the tribes scheduled to 24.1% together with.

He also noted that the reserve is 69% and 77% in Tamil Nadu and Jharkhand, respectively, depending on the population.
