The economic prosperity and the ascending political movement of the members in the castes presented in category 1 have directed the report of the socioconomic and educational survey to steal the elimination of the exemption of the creamy layer category.

The Commission led by K. Jayaprakash Hegde that presented the report to the Government in 2024 has said that since the economic condition had improved among people in the thesis castes, it is sought that the creamy layer be included now.
