Police arrested a woman for stealing a baby tribal specialty hospital tribal, Kottathara, Saturday.
The incident took place around noon when the woman, who was the caretaker of a mother and a boy in the hospital, went to the four -month -old girl in the near bed. The woman stole the baby after sending her mother to the canteen for lunch.
When the mother returned, she discovered that the baby was missing. He soon complained to the hospital authorities, who in turn called the police. The police tracked the woman with the help of the images of the surveillance.
The woman was arrested from Goolikkadavu. Police said they were questioning the woman, and held the participation of a child kidnapping racket behind the incident. Investigation is carried out.
