Young Indians to launch national-level initiative ‘Young Indian Parliament 2025’

The Chapter Young Indians (YI) MySuru, which is an integral part of the Confederation of the Indian Industry (CII), will launch an initiative nationwide, “Young Indian Parliament 2025”, to instill the civic consciousness, leadership capabilities.

The theme of Yip 2025 is “where young minds shape the nation – debate | Decide | Impulse ”, will provide a platform for students to participate in parliamentary simulations, participate in structured debates and get experience of elegance in governance and public policies.

A statement declared that the Yip aligns with the vision of Prime Minister Narendra Modi or empowering young people without political lineage to assume the roles of governance and leadership. It will also promote the belief that the force of democracy lies in merit, ideas and courage to lead, the statement added.

The YIP has a three -level formation: city rounds, regional and final national rounds. The statement declared that students are encouraged to develop public analysis skills, negotiation and policy analysis, and high performance students of the city levels will pass to regional rounds made in eighteen and finalists.

In 2024, the Yip saw particles of more than 4,300 students in 720 schools, facilitated by eight Yi City chapters. The initiative focuses on relevant and critical issues, including the development of skills and the preparation of AI, environmental sustainability, educational reform, youth empowerment, the safety of women and children, and technology and cybersecurity.
