YSRCP welcomes Supreme Court interim orders on Waqf Board Amendment Act

On Thursday of the YSR Congress Party (YSRCP) welcomed the provisional orders of the Supreme Court in the amendment law of the WAQF Board, 2025 and described the orders as a step towards justice for Muslims.

When addressing the people of the media in Kurnool, former MLA Ma Hafeez Khan expressed his confidence in the Judiciary and pointed out that the president of the Supreme Court of India echoed the YSRCP Conerns on the Law. “The Supreme Court, responding to the ysrcp’s petition, Questioned Non-Muslim Inclusion In Waqf Boards and Deemed the Act Potentially Fundamental Rights. He also criticized the national president of TDP and Prime Minister N. Chandababu Naidu and the principal minister of Bihar, Nithis Kumar for aligning with the BJP agenda and betraying the minorities. He said the Muslim community is observing the actions of the TDP and demanded that Mr. Naidu leave the NDA in support of minorities.

“The YSRCP is still committed to its struggle for the repeal of the law and will be with the Muslim community,” said Hafeez Khan.
