Lucky super giants kept the nerve to win an exciting encounter against Kolkata Knight riders for a thin margin or 2 races. With this victory they are the second team to qualify for the playoffs with 18 points


IPL MATCH NO 66: LSG VS KKR
Luck had its best opening position of the season with an undefeated association between Kock (140* 70 balls) and KL Rahul (68* of 51 balls) with both undefeated transes until the end published 210/0 at the end of 20 overs. KKR was backed to Aghest the Wall, since they needed a victory to stay as a contender for the playoffs.

In response, KKR was in trouble at the top with some precise bowling of Mohsin Khan, who ended with figures for 3/20 and was the choice of the bowling player. After the fall of two fast wickts, Nithish Rana (42 of 22) and Shreyas Iyer (50 of 29) made their way forward and at some point they went to the application and the party seemed to be within their reach.
Two rapid Wickts by Sam Billings and Andre Russel backed by some excellent bowling of Mohsin Khan, Marcus Stoinis and Avesh Khan withdrew the game in favor of Luckknow. With 80 odd races of around 40 odd balls, it seemed for KKR. But a superlative effort of Rinku Singh (40 of 15) and Sunil Narine (21* against 7) took the game to the last ball.
With 17 necessary races in the last one, it was almost for KKR. However, Rinku had other ideas and with some lustful hit the Stoinis bowling alley (6.4.4 out of 3 balls) reduced the equation to 3 races of 2 balls for a victory for KKR. Rinku ended with a superlative diving capture of Evil Lewis on the limit of the additional cover and was reduced to Neding 3 runs of the last installment for KKR. The last ball saw an impressive Yorker break the stumps of Umeh Yadav and it was Kolakata, while it was jubilation for Luckknow Super Giants.
