The International Association of Game Developers (IGDA) welcomes three new directors to its board: Tiziano Giardini, Jennifer Eris and Pedro Zambon.

They replace several directors who are cycling outside the board. Tiziano Giardini is a strategist and builder of the games ecosystem committed to empowering developers and growing the global games sector.

Giardini co -founded Igda Italia with a group of enthusiastic volunteers in Turin, making him a prosperous national chapter with regular monthly events and associations nationwide. With 34 Bigthings, one of the main studies of Italy games, works between business production and development, as well as the QuickLoad leadership, the study accelerator for teams at the initial stage.

Outside the study, he has been involved in a series of companies in games, innovation and entrepreneurship. As a member of the IGDA Incubator & Accelator Special Interest Group, it is an active facilitator of the exchange of knowledge between global and local initiatives. On the IGDA board, it provides a systems level perspective, with emphasis on creating more robust connections, infrastructures and opportunities for developers worldwide.

Pedro Zambon is the IGDA board.

Jennifer be you was the director of the game in the monument Valley 3Monument Valley 2’s Lost Forest and Subway Surfers. You are a passionate lawyer for the development of the conscious climate game. With a rich experience in narrative and design, Jennifer brings a unique intersection of creativity and purpose to the IGDA Board.

She is volunteer with the IGDA Climate Special Interest Group (SIG) and with the game for the planet where the Stories Narration Committee is used in the Advisory and Co -President. Jennifer enjoys helping the community of global games developers to better understand and address the environmental and social impact of the industry.

Pedro Zambon is a researcher, industry consultant and defender of sustainable growth of games development ecosystems in Latin America and the global south. Zambon is the co -founder and vice president of the Group of Special Interest of Incubation and Accex of IGDA, and founder of Savegame.DEV, an initiative focused on the design of policies, incubation and training strategies of local games communities.

As a postdoctoral member of Marie Skłodowska-Curie in the Collaborative Technologies Laboratory of the University of Utrecht, Pedro leads research on collaborative practices and the coordination of the talent in the development of games, including the creation of Teammeup, a platform designed to improve the training of the equipment and the network. Now that it joins the Board of Directors of IGDA, Pedro provides a deep experience in emerging markets, public financing strategies, decision making promoted by international research and collaboration.

The IDDA will say goodbye to Margaret Krohn, Natasha Skult, Rami Ismail and Guy Blomberg, all of which completed their terms and contributed significantly to IDDA efforts to expand their global support initiation and event experiences.
